The villagers spend the first part of this episode discussing the newcomer to their village, Senku. They speculate that he could be anything from an ex-banished member of their tribe to an alien. The village elder agrees that Senku is not only a potential threat, but a nuisance with his advanced mind and eternal projects. He's about to make him leave when his daughter Ruri collapses into a coughing fit.

As the true scientists continue to try and save Ruri, the drug roadblock looks daunting for now. Senku tries underlining their current situation to Kohaku, although she seems oblivious again. A change of expression comes across her face when Senku mentions that they need a miracle — and she laughs. True enough, Senku gets on one knee and proposes to get Ruri healed. His speech touches both Chrome and Kohaku, who like his positivity.

Senku and his group have only 72 hours to make an antibiotic to save Ruri. They put everything they’ve learned so far to the test in hopes of saving her life

Dr. Senku explains the process of making a sulfa drug using rocks...

A small village in post-apocalyptic Japan is struck by an unknown phenomenon which reduces all of its residents, except for young Taiju, to stone. Four years later, after Taiju manages to free himself from the curse and finds his friend Senku, the two set about restoring civilization with the power of science.

The science trio is determined to save Ruri, and Senku explains their options. They'll need an antibiotic, however Senku has no way of knowing what she has because he can't check her blood work. Their options are to either get lucky with a super powerful strain of penicillin, or making a sulfa drug using rocks. Because it's almost impossible to get lucky with the former, Senku says they'll choose the rock route.

Chrome and Kohaku are both excited and scared about the length of it. They both want to heal Ruri though.

In the Stone World village, Ruri collapses into a fit of coughing, and Senku says that it's not a death sentence yet. He proposes two paths to an antibiotic: try to get lucky with penicillin, or make their own sulfa drug from scratch.

Kokuyo is not very thrilled about Kohaku, who is his daughter, revealing a stranger to the village. Ruri becomes ill with whooping cough, and Senku has to figure out how to make antibiotics to save her. The villagers have to gather sulfarspar and hunt down a wolf. Senku has his own plan on how to do this by using a vine whip. During the hunt, Tajima is believed to have died when he fell into a hole, but Senku finds him seriously injured instead. Can they get him medical attention in time?

An outsider is led to the village by Kohaku and the rest of the villagers are all very suspicious of him. Presenting, Senku's Game of Survival!

With the map in hand, Senku and the gang start their first step on building a sulfa drug from scratch.

The trio sets out to make the necessary medicine, just as Dr. Xeno and Ruri agree that they'll most likely need it to save her life.

The girls experience a delicate resurgence of life with the bright, flowery scent of cherry blossom. This sinuous fragrance features green fruity notes of Asian pear, followed by an indulgently sweet blend of crushed plum, cherry blossom and almond nectar. The scent finally reveals its warm, addictive base notes of praline, white amber and enticing sandbox.
