After a full year, Taiju finally works up the courage to confess his feelings to Yuzuriha. Just as he is about to, they are both turned to stone. 3700 years in the future, Taiju and Senku are revived. While Taiju is focused on reviving Yuzuriha, Senku believes they can revive everyone that was turned to stone. After much debate, they agree to revive Yuzuriha first so she can help them gather the plants needed for their "Cell Reversion Solution". They successfully restore her and it is here that Taiju learns his confession was rejected 3700 years ago.

After a full year, Taiju finally fulfills his wish to confess to the girl he loves. But just as they are about to embrace each other, tragedy strikes. Humanity is frozen in a stone prison!

Senku's science and Taiju's vitality are tested after they free Yuzuriha from her petrification and set off with her to revive the human race.

After sleeping for over 30 years, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself in a world where every human has been petrified. He meets his former high school crush Yuzuriha a short time later as she has just awakened. Taiju asks her to marry him and they head off to search for his best friend Senku; who had been working on a project to revive humanity when the petrification occurred.

Taiju Oki wants to confess his love to Yuzuriha, the girl he's been infatuated with for years through high school, but he's so nervous that he can't get the words out. That is, until a mysterious green light strikes him and all of humanity - turning everyone into stone! Five years later, Taiju's best friend Senku awakens and begins to search for others like him to start rebuilding civilization. Together with an art club member named Yuruziha, they will use their knowledge of science and technology to bring society back into existence!

In the last year leading up to the decisive battle of the science vs. sorcery war, a genius scientist is trapped in the body of an ordinary senior high school boy. Senku Ishigami wakes up after several millennia and meets Taiju Oki, his best friend from back in the Stone Age. Since they were kids, the two have always been inseparable.

Taiju is a soft-hearted and warm guy who's always willing to help others. He can be quite dense, as shown when he didn't realize that Kana Usui liked him in high school and when he couldn't tell Tsukasa was going easy on him during their fight.

Why not flip the script a bit and make Tsukasa the protagonist? I think it'd be great to have a strong, hardworking kid like him save the world from those Stone World guys!

On his journey to revive the petrified humans, Taiju encounters a brilliant but mad scientist who wants to rule over the world with his power and will stop at nothing to see it happen.
